Call for Original and Encore Abstracts Present your research at the Pharmacogenomics Global Research Network (PGRN) 2025 Annual Meeting in collaboration with ClinPGx Abstracts on a wide range of pharmacogenetics topics are welcome, including abstracts that describe analyses of All of Us data. Encore abstracts previously presented at other conferences are also acceptable. We are particularly interested in submissions from our trainee members and those working in underdeveloped regions. All accepted abstracts will be presented at the PGRN 2025 Annual Meeting, including some selected for oral presentation during plenary sessions. Original abstracts will be published in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Deadline for abstract submission: April 1, 2025, 11:59PM PT Abstract submission site and detailed formatting guidelines can be found here: | PGRN/ClinPGx Annual Meeting Call for Session Proposals and Speaker Nominations Session proposals: Duration: 1.5 hours in length, including at minimum 15 minutes for audience interaction/Q&A Speakers: There should be no more than 4 speakers, preferably 3. No more than one speaker may be a non-member of both PGRN and CPIC. Required Session Proposal Elements: 1. Session title2. Session chair and co-chair names and affiliations 3. 3-4 Sentences summarizing the content of the session including high level educational objectives. 4. Presentation titles and proposed speakers, with timing included. Include 2-3 sentences describing what each speaker will cover in their presentation. For each speaker, also include their institution, email, whether they are a PGRN member, career stage, relevant expertise, and if they advance diversity objectives 5. Description of novel or interactive elements included in the Session Session Proposal Expectations: 1. Sufficiently broad to be of interest to most of the PGRN/ClinPGx audience.2. Diversity in Session Chairs and Speakers including gender, ethnicity, career-stage, geography, work setting, etc. 3. Sessions that employ novel/innovative approaches to content delivery, and/or involve high levels of interaction between speakers and audience will be given priority. Patient perspectives can also be considered for inclusion. 4. All presentations will be in person at the meeting. Individual Speaker Nominations: Any PGRN or CPIC member may nominate a potential speaker (self-nomination accepted) and topic for the 2025 Annual Meeting. Speakers who can discuss the application of Artificial Intelligence, Novel and Emerging Experimental Methods, or Translational Clinical Study Designs to PGx research are particularly encouraged, though any speaker and topic will be considered. Please include speaker name and potential presentation topic. Describe in 2-3 sentences what the speaker could cover in their presentation and why you believe this individual or topic will be of interest to the PGRN/ClinPGx Audience. Also include the speaker’s institution, email, whether they are a PGRN or CPIC member, career stage, relevant expertise, and whether they are aware of this nomination. Speaker compensation: non-member speakers will be provided with up to $650 for airfare or $150 for mileage reimbursement ($0.65 per mile), up to 2 nights hotel and up to $100 for other expenses, plus complimentary meeting registration. Member speakers will receive complimentary meeting registration only.
